  1. Trista says:

I like the idea of the show its intersting, when is it going to start though?? How long are the episodes going to be, its like the Hills except a Canadian version.

    • Vanessa says:

      Hi Trista,
Consider what you’ve seen episode 1. The next episode will be live on jaclife.com on Monday March 15 and every Monday for the next five Mondays. Each episode is five minutes.
      Thanks for watching!

  2. Evelyn Dray says:

This is awesome Lauren!! Congrats!! These girls are wayyy hotter than then “The Hills” or “The City” girls, let`s be serious!!!!!!!!
look forward to seeing this on TV!!! Woot Woot!!!

  3. Giles says:

Rather than imitating the homogeneous formats that encourage young people to strive for only superficial things – look/act/dress/live a certain way – why not do a show about people striving to be originals, explore themselves and the world, and make a difference. I would watch that.

  4. Carole says:

Fun! And nice to see Toronto featured in this kind of format. Ditto on guilty pleasures. I’m looking forward to Episode 2!

  5. Lucy B says:

    Its okay….
Why isn’t it on tv and only online?
The girls are not as hot as The Hills cast. And the title of the show is exactly like The City – with the background and all. Couldn’t there be some originality in there?

The girls portray themselves as big time partiers! Not really the classy type of girls…I guess its bc they are super young. Doesn’t really show that they are responsible.

  6. V says:

KAITY IS SO HOT AND I LOVE HER!!!!!!

  7. Vanessa says:

    Hi Kim,
Yes, the episodes will all be around five minutes. It’s a format we thought would be perfect for online viewing.

    • Giles says:

this whole thing seems a little suspect … basically a commercial for their business interests. if you call the episode “meet the whatever family” how can you have no dialogue? odd. plus, the opening credits and closing promo took up half the “episode”

      • Vanessa says:

        Hi Giles,
We appreciate the time you’ve obviously put into watching and thinking about the show. I hope you can appreciate it for its entertainment value. This first episode is supposed to provide a glimpse into what we have in store for the rest of the season – and it is not meant to be a commercial for Jacflash.
        Thanks again for tuning in!

  8. Kim says:

Are the episodes only 4 mins?

  9. marco g coi says:

  27. Amy Thompson says:

This is so fun. I love people who go for that they want out of life. These girls look cute but its nice to see the real ‘business’ life behind the scenes. In most these reality shows it seems to just come for free. Can’t wait to follow!

  28. evelyn says:

    I am sorry!

Does Lauren, Heidi, Whit, or Audrina… have their own store?

Or do they live in Toronto?

  32. marco g coi says:

i was just looking over your “lingo” and i see ‘a step too far’ means you took something too far. thanks for clearing that up.

  33. taylor says:

    congrats girls! great job!

  34. Augustina says:

What a rip off of The Hills.
    These girls are just wannabes.

    Sad, sad sad.

  35. ReLLy says:

    i wanna do kaity.

  36. Brohawk says:

    Great job!! Looks awesome!! :)

  37. Entertainment says:

    Dear Conscious Guy,

This show is is for ENTERTAINMENT!
It’s not as if they are airing it on CNN. The slice network caters to women needing an escape and a way to unwind!

I will let you know that these girls like everyone else have issues, and things the worry about. Also Jaclyn is a huge animal lover and activist.

Before you go on a rant please think of the audience you are addressing.

  38. Conssious guy!! says:

what the hack was that…another lame reality show…now a Canadian Mixed version of The Hills and The city…please for God’s sake…stop falling into the non amusing and so predictable pattern of “doing the same stupid thing that everybody else does, just because you think it is so Cool” …it is not…Not everybody in this world (and I am talking about that huge percentage of people) has a beautiful, fashionable and socialite life…c’mon… not everybody lives the beautiful life, and goes to the hottest clubs, party all the time, and hang out with the most superficial, but “cool” people…There is a reality out there, where there is poor people, real people who has to struggle everyday to bring food to the table, people who has to fight to survive…and you are trying of leaving that behind and making the rest of the Torontonians, at least, more unaware of that…GIVE ME A BREAK!!! We already have a tremendous lack of consciousness, because of the shallow world that the media has us living in…do something better for your life and the life of the future generations….do something good for the society…STOP CREATING, BEING, SELL AND EAT THAT CRAP….NO MORE STUPID AND MINDLESS REALITY SHOWS!!!

  39. Jaclyn Jones says:
